Trying boxing for the first time can be intimidating! But do not worry! We have beginners almost every day and our coach is trained to work with people at your level and elite athletes.
Just be sure to show up 10-15 minutes early so we can wrap your hands and explain the class structure to you.
What should I wear or bring?
You can come dressed in sportswear and comfortable shoes. You will need a couple of bandages which you must purchase before class and have a value of $15 dollars or it´s equivalent to colones.
Gloves can be used free of charge for the first class, if you have your own pair of gloves you can bring them with you.
Will I get hit?
No. Classes are non-contact and non-combat – you’ll get lean and toned like a fighter (without ever having to fight!).
BEST803 is a gym that specializes in boxing fitness classes. You will use real boxing techniques in each class.
We teach technique in every class, so we can work with you regardless of whether it's your first time in a gym or you have many years of boxing fitness experience.

Do I need to 'get in shape' before I start boxing fitness classes?
A common misunderstanding is that you need to be ‘in shape’ before starting boxing fitness training. This is completely false. Our classes are designed to allow our attendees to train ‘at their own pace’ while at the same time, giving the advanced students the opportunity to challenge themselves.
What if I’ve never boxed in my life?
You don’t need to have ever boxed, we’ll teach you how to throw punches correctly and help you reach your fitness goals. Box ‘N Burn classes are high intensity, non-contact, and FUN!
What is your membership policy?

What are the BENEFITS of a boxing fitness class?

What can I expect from a boxing fitness class?
To have fun!
Our sessions are a well-balanced workout consisting of boxing fitness, cardio training, and functional fitness. It is a full-body workout – legs, core, back, shoulders, and arms.
You’ll be doing conditioning drills like jumping jacks, sit-ups, and quick feet drills as well as fundamental boxing including shadow boxing and bag work.
Before class begins we’ll wrap your hands to protect them and get you in a pair of real boxing gloves.
How many people are in a class?
Classes will range from 2-6 people. We cap our classes to keep the quality of the class high, plenty of space and equipment for each person, and keep that group/trainer ratio to make sure everyone’s getting plenty of attention. You get what you pay for!
